Tralee Farm HW8 Developments

You may recall that this development was refused at an appeal just before Christmas. This did not mean that the issue had gone away only that it could not go ahead in the form it was in at that time.

We have been very busy keeping track of the changes in the applications and in the potential developers. Since then, the previous developer of the Tralee Farm element of the site has changed as Inland Homes have sold their parcel of land to another company called Hawridge.

There are currently changes underway with their application and we are awaiting the final version for evaluation.

In the meantime we have been trying to make sure your voices are heard by all parties and have held meetings with Peter Strachan (Bucks Cabinet Member for Planning) and Steve Bambrick (Bucks Director of Planning) as well as a separate meeting with both developers. We proposed, and are in the process of organising, a joint meeting with all relevant parties to try and mitigate the plans as per the concerns of residents and to make sure the serious shortage of aspects of local infrastructure are addressed as part of the development. We all know we need our local healthcare provision improving and will also need to see a sound plan to satisfy the additional number of school places which would be required. These issues along with our other concerns will be discussed at the forthcoming meeting.

Little Missenden Neighbourhood plan

Work on the Little Missenden Neighbourhood Plan is ongoing, and we continue to support this with membership of the committee to liaise across our two organisations and represent your views. Once completed the plan will allow resident to some say in the development of our village.

The survey for the plan was very successful with more than 500 residents across our 4 villages completing it and the results are already looking to be very helpful and informative.

The team are continuing to analyse the results and your many comments and will be able to feedback more information to you in the near future.

Holmer Green Farm

We had a very successful meeting with the potential developer of the Holmer Green Farm who explained the planning restrictions on the site to us. These meant that the concerns we had previously had were resolved as they are simply not allowed to develop the rear of the site in the way which we would have preferred. In view of the improved understanding we had of the application and the urgent need to preserve the historic buildings we changed our position to support the application.
